Moving from a career in Information Systems to full-time studio work allows me the freedom to create anything that comes to mind, crafting exquisite, one-of-a-kind embellished art that lights up a room.
After retiring early in the pandemic, my focus shifted to the delicate artistry of pierced and embellished wood. I bring decades of skill to every piece, from functional platters to unique sculptural boxes.
I am fortunate to work across both abstract and concrete media, creating in both software and wood. I recently discovered that AI is a game-changer making it feasible for me to create a new set of utilities. I hope they not only inspire new creative concepts for you but also streamline the process of laying out intricate designs. I’m now ready to dive fully back into wood artistry and excited to develop and test the new utilities that this digital-physical blend makes possible.

The Image Fitter Suite Beta is Here!
The Artwork Vessel Fitter is a four-step process for preparing digital artwork to fit curved vessel surfaces. First, Vessel Curve Capture tool converts a traced or hand drawn contour line of the vessel into a vector that can be used to design panels to fit. Then the Vessel Panel Generator converts the vessel curve into a precise SVG mask file fitting a stripe of the vessel exterior. Next, the Vector and Image Slicer divides large artwork into printable vertical strips. Finally, the Artwork to Panel Fitter application warps each image slice to exactly fit one panel. The final product is print-ready PNG and PDF files that can be cut and applied to the vessel.
